Parashuram - Sixth Avatar of Lord Vishnu Mythology is one of my favorite genres to read and explore. It has hidden and profound meaning in its stories and characters. I feel the character Parusuram is underrated compared to the other characters like Rama and Krishna. Probably, It is because we idealize and relate with Rama and Krishna as characters more than the other Vishnu Avatars. Nonetheless, Parashuram is aggressive than other Vishnu Avatars. He was born to Jamadagni and Renuka Devi, and the last among his five brothers. He was born brahmin but had traits of a Kshatriya. The purpose of Parashurama's avatar was to destroy evil. Evil was in the form of the Kshatriya class abusing power and showing arrogance. Parashurama went around the world, killing evil Kshatriya kings, restoring Dharma, and cosmic equilibrium.
