[Review] 'Behind the Scenes' by Sharmishta Shenoy

The title of the book infers to story either about theatre or films.If you have thought about it, then you are right.This book is third from Shenoy in her forte of the Crime thriller. The story is set in Darjeeling where the murder takes place in a film set.Vikram Rana, the main lead is drawn to investigate the issue.The investigation pans back to Calcutta post-murder.The rest of the story is all about how Rana finds the Killer. Shenoy's narrative has always been simple and crisp.She actually follows a pattern just like most of the crime thrillers.It has characters who look suspicious and has the motive to kill the victim.The rest of it is about how the lead character with help of clues/investigations finds the murderer.However, This story is slightly different from the way it is.It has one major twist in the story which is unexpected and thrilling.Finally, The book ends with the confessions made by the murderer.A reader who is into crime fiction would be aware of this sty...
